ALCHEMY happens at NATION.

Among other things this means we have OPEN BAR every week from 9-10pm

ALCHEMY happens every Thursday Night at Nation

Doors open to the club at 9:00pm.

On nights that no live acts are playing the cover to enter Alchemy will be two for one if you arrive BEFORE 10:00pm.

The cover at Alchemy AFTER 10:00pm is $7.00.

Age entry is limited to 18+. You must have in your possesion a personal non-fake legal ID to present to our cordial bouncers.

You will find two areas of different dance music at Alchemy.

The Main Room has three rotating DJs playing Industrial, EBM, Techno and Psytrance.

The Front Room (or patio, weather permitting) has three rotating DJs play 80s, Gothic, Darkwave and Synthpop. You may even catch the random Punk track back here as well!

The combination of SIX different DJs makes the Alchemy night one of the most diverse in the city of Washington DC!

The music played ranges through radio-air play, college-radio and underground. From old-school to cutting edge.

Alchemy also offers many drink specials throughout your night stay.

OPEN BAR  from 9:00 to 10:00pm
$3.00  rail vodka drinks after 10:00pm
$2.00  Coors Lite bottles after 10:00pm

Keep your eyes and ears on the bar and the sound system to hear of additional drink specials occasionally announced throughout the night.
